At Piatti Mill Valley, we believe exceptional dining experiences begin with exceptional leadership. We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our Italian-inspired restaurant where culinary artistry meets warm hospitality in Mill Valley, which is also the headquarters of the Palisades Hospitality Home Office. This position requires open availability to work weekends, nights and closing the property 2-3 nights a week.

As General Manager, you will orchestrate every element of our guest experience-from the moment they make their reservation to the final farewell. You will lead a passionate team dedicated to creating memorable moments through outstanding service, authentic Italian-inspired cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere that keeps our community coming back.

Guest Experience & Service

• Create seamless, memorable dining experiences across all dayparts and occasions
• Model and teach the art of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued
• Build lasting relationships with our community through exceptional service
• Curate the perfect atmosphere-from ambiance to service flow
• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team that shares your passion for hospitality

• Manage P&L to drive profitability while maintaining our quality standards
• Develop and execute annual budgets with strategic precision
• Identify opportunities to enhance sales and operational efficiency
• Partner with local community and trade organizations to strengthen our presence

• Ensure impeccable food quality, safety, and presentation standards
• Maintain the beautiful aesthetic that defines Piatti's welcoming environment
• Oversee property maintenance and vendor relationships
• Leverage technology platforms to optimize operations and guest engagement

You are a proven restaurant leader with 5+ years in food & beverage and 3+ years managing high-volume, full-service operations. You bring expertise from high-end, high-paced dining environments where attention to detail and guest satisfaction are paramount.

• Exceptional communication skills and diplomatic, proactive leadership style
• High integrity and ability to build trust across all levels
• Strong analytical mindset with P&L management expertise
• Coaching abilities that bring out the best in your team
• Hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
• Proficiency with modern restaurant technology (TOAST, CTUIT, Open Table, COGSWell)

• 5+ years food & beverage experience with 5 years in leadership roles
• 3+ years managing full-service restaurant with $5M+ annual sales
• High-end, high-paced dining environment experience strongly preferred
• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current Food Handling, Food Safety, and TIPS Certifications
