Landscape Designer

RHAA, a legacy design-oriented firm, is looking for design centric, creative individuals with a collaborative spirit. Our philosophy is to design beautiful places for people with a strong ecological, cultural and art based approach. Our office is located just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the small town of Mill Valley, a 15-minute drive from San Francisco. We have a studio based working style that encourages interaction and a healthy work life balance.

Our projects include academic and tech campuses, national parks, community parks, urban design, multi-family housing, streetscapes, waterfronts, healthcare facilities and civic facilities. Our project teams work closely together from project initiation through construction.

We are seeking a Landscape Designer with high level graphic skills, thoughtful design and sensitivity to cultural and environmental influences. We are a hybrid firm, with two days in office and three days remote.

Professional degree in landscape architecture. Graduate degree preferred.

0-4 years of experience working on landscape architecture projects from Concept to Construction Administration

Technically competent and experienced with detailing, planting and construction drawing production

Experience directly interacting with clients

Experience managing budgets and deliverables

Able to handle multiple projects/tasks/schedules

Ability to effectively manage and delegate work to design team members within the firm

Ability to work in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Lumion, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite and other professional software

Self-motivated but with a collaborative spirit

Strong critical thinking skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work with a wide range of people

Ability to work in hybrid schedule with two days in office and three days remote
