IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is hiring a Human Resources Payroll Specialist for a full‑time position based in Seattle, WA.
Base salary ranges from $65,000 rámci $68,000 ruolo per year.
This role handles and processes payroll and supports Human Resources in various administrative tasks. Responsibilities include full‑cycle payroll processing, HR generalist duties, and assisting with new employee onboarding documentation.
Position duties:
- Process bi‑weekly payroll accurately and on time for salaried, hourly, and contract employees.
- Reconcile payroll‑related accounts and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations croire WA and .
- Assist with year‑end reporting including W‑2s, 1099s, L&I, benefits, and multi‑state filings.
- Process employee expenses and bonus payments in accordance with company policy.
- Upload and reconcile data from multiple software applications into payroll systems.
- Maintain accurate employee records related to compensation, benefits, and deductions.
- Review and process HR inbox emails, respond to requests, and process forms.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience processing payroll with benefits. Proficient in payroll software applications and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of payroll federals, multi‑state (WA & ) and city tax laws; monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; audit compliance for payroll liability and deferred compensation.
- Strong data entry, organization, time management, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
Physical Demands /
Working Conditions:
- Physical activity including bending, reaching, squatting, lifting, and prolonged periods of sitting.
- Required to work at an IRG administrative office and be responsible for transportation to and from the site.
- Work for extended periods at a video display terminal and use a keyboard to enter and gather information.
- Work schedule will be based on the needs of IRG.
Pay & Benefits Information:
- Base salary: $65,000 – $68,000 depending on experience.
