• Handle and store all food in accordance with facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
• Assist with food preparation as assigned by the supervisor.
• Prepare food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring safe food handling practices.
• Assist with setting up the food tray line.
• Assemble diet trays and deliver tray carts to dining areas or individual units.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and equipment according to facility procedures.
• Assist in dishwashing operations and cleaning tasks.

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience as a food service aide in an institutional food service setting preferred.
