Service Technician

• Plan and coordinate activities related to investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems.
• Represent Biss Nuss in product startup support, warranty service, and billable repair.
• Analyze, review, and inspect findings to determine the source of problems and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective actions.
• Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
• Provide start-up/commissioning services or training to customers.
• Quote jobs when applicable.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic services on products and execute adjustments.
• Assist management with sales, field service, and warranty issues.
• Primary work hours are Monday through Friday, with variations based on customer requirements.
• Travel throughout Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

• 2+ years of related field technician experience.
• Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Professional communication skills for interacting with customers of varying technical expertise.
• Ability to document all processes related to start-ups, troubleshooting, and repairs for internal and external review.
• Proven ability to initiate and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers, including collaboration with engineering and sales teams.
• Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
