UMass Memorial Health - - Responsibilities:
Provide security for the safety and protection of Hospitals patients, staff, general public, and properties;
Patrols, periodically, buildings and grounds of Hospital;
Examines doors, windows, and other points of entry to determine that they are secure;
Tags and records all points of entry found unlocked or unsecured;
Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles, and apprehends or expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
