Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager, Contracts Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of construction projects from initiation through close-out. This is a fully in-office role based in Boston, MA, with regular travel to project sites across the Northeast US and occasional travel to Canada.
The Project Manager acts as the primary financial, contractual, and operational lead, responsible for accurate forecasting, detailed planning, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Work location and travel requirement- Primary work location:
Milford, MA office (in-office role) - Travel expectations: approximately 25–50%
- Regular travel to project sites across the Northeast US
- Occasional international travel to Canada
- Financial and contractual leadership
- Produce and manage the Schedule of Values (SOV)
- Manage monthly invoicing
- Execute cost control and financial forecasting
- Manage Purchase Orders, RFQs, and invoice approvals
- Control Change Requests and Change Orders documentation
- Review proposals, drawings, and budgets
- Project planning and execution
- Develop and manage erection and delivery schedules
- Produce engineer-stamped erection procedures
- Lead internal and external kick‑off meetings
- Monitor BIM drafting and fabrication schedules
- Coordinate with field teams and subcontractors
- Project close‑out and continuous improvement
- Coordinate project close‑out and sign‑offs
- Produce complete close‑out documentation
- Lead lessons learned and post‑mortem reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in construction project management
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and scheduling
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
