Patient Care Representative – Shields Health

The Patient Care Representative will contribute to the goals of the Shields Health Care Group by providing exceptional customer service with professionalism, efficiency, and accuracy. The role is available on a per‑diem basis.

• Greet patients, collect copay/deductible/coinsurance, and explain consent forms.
• Assist patients with iPad check‑in, troubleshoot, /tryout feedback.
• Recognize when language services are needed.
• Distribute films/CDs while maintaining HIPAA and correlating patient privacy policy.
• Collaborate with technologists/radiologists to ensure proper patient flow.
• Process outgoing and incoming U.S. and inter‑office mail and UPS deliveries.
• Prepare set‑up করেন for next day’s appointments and communicate potential issues.
• Provide and respect confidentiality of all customer groups.
• Verify and enter necessary information into our systems.
• Respond appropriately to scheduling emergency patient situations.
• Support Customer.dropdown with machine utilization by filling the template (utilizing waitlist, 1/1 and 7/4).
• Answer patient and doctor concerns with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Keep management informed of situations and conditions that could impact the company.
• Remain current on policy changes that modify daily recently.
• Maintain copay/petty cash accuracy and make daily bank deposits.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Work to maintain survey return rates in conjunction with company guidelines and goals.
• Work in collaboration with multi‑departments to ensure efficiencies.

• High school diploma required.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy required.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to multi‑task and exceed customer expectations required.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while simultaneouslyatribute data entry and information intake via phone; may be met with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Medical  or healthcare administration coursework preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and insurance requirements preferred.

Pay range: $17–29 per hour plus benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
