Perform courier and maintenance duties in support of all assigned sites.

I. Major Responsibilities

1. Transports interoffice mail between Administration and all sites.

  • Mail reaches destinations in a timely manner.
  • Practices safe driving techniques.
  • Takes Milford Regional vehicle for maintenance when due.
  • Responds promptly to beeper and cell phone calls from Administration.
  • Drives route to minimize time and miles.
  • Makes multiple stops at certain locations, as needed.
  • Able to change route as needed to pick up STATS.

2. Perform routine maintenance as requested.

  • Change light bulbs, plunge toilets, hang pictures, assemble furniture, etc.
  • Purchase supplies necessary to complete tasks.
  • Construct shelving.

3. Participate with office relocations.

  • Load boxes/furniture on and off truck.
  • Set up new office space.

4. Assist MIS department to run cables.

  • As requested assists MIS personnel run cables inside offices.

5. Patient & Customer Satisfaction

  • Handles work related information in a confidential manner, always following HIPAA regulations.
  • Demonstrates an ability to identify customer/patient needs.
  • Actively works to meet customer/patient needs in a timely manner.
  • Treats patients, co‑workers, and customers with dignity, compassion and respect.

6. Working with others

  • Treats others in a courteous, caring and respectful manner.
  • Displays teamwork/cooperation.
  • Displays an understanding of how his/her job relates to the overall work processes and other functional areas.
  • Interacts and communicates effectively with others.
  • Displays ability to respond constructively to peer and supervisory suggestions and direction.
