Role Overview

Riverside Community Care
Crisis Specialist – Mobile Crisis Intervention – 1st Shift Weekends

The Crisis Specialist is an integral part of the Mobile Crisis Intervention Program, providing 24‑hour, 7‑day crisis intervention services on‑site or mobile to individuals experiencing mental health or substance abuse crises. In this bachelor‑level role, the Crisis Specialist works as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team devoted to crisis intervention and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support master‑level clinicians and triage staff in providing Mobile Crisis Intervention services to individuals.
  • Assist individuals and families and perform tasks such as implementing the disposition determined by the master’s level clinician.
  • Provide telephonic support, arrange for assessments on site or in the community, and organize transportation as needed.
  • Secure placements in detox units, inpatient units, and diversionary levels of care and coordinate the transfer of those served to these facilities.

We are looking for an individual who is able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing office environment.

Schedule & Pay

Schedule: Part Time, 16 hours – Saturday and Sunday, 1st shift.
Pay Rate: $23.33 hourly.
