The Purchasing Engineer is responsible forassistingin the hiring of subcontractors and vendors for specific Consigli Construction projects.
The Purchasing Engineer will be assigned and work collaboratively with members of the project team including the Purchaser,Estimator and Project Manager, to complete this function on time and on budget.
- Assistin hiring subcontractors and vendors for specific
Consigli Construction projects. - Assistin definingconcise trade package scopes of work prior to buying these packages.
- Collaborate with project team members, including the Purchaser,Estimatorand Project Manager, to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Work with company personnel to develop andmaintainrelationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Assistin overseeing the prequalification, bid solicitation, and award processes for subcontractors and vendors.
- Write subcontracts and material purchase agreements.
- Assistin organizing meetings with subcontractors and vendors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- General knowledge of the construction industry (documents, schedules, sub-contractor proposals, etc.).

- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management,engineering, or relevant field required.
- 0-3years of experience in construction management/engineering, or similar roleor schoolingrequired, preferably in the construction field.
- Strong computer skills andproficiencyin Microsoft Office required.
