Project Accountant (Accounts Receivable / Project Billing)

Location: Milford, MA (Hybrid)

Salary: $70,000–$90,000

A growing, project-driven organization is hiring a Project Accountant to support contract billing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable for complex, milestone-based projects. This is a newly created role due to increased project volume and the need for dedicated ownership across billing and revenue processes.

• Set up and maintain projects in an ERP system, including budgets and milestones
• Generate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms
• Recognize revenue using percent-complete methodology
• Perform month-end reconciliations and project close-outs
• Support AR collections and collaborate with project managers and finance

• 2+ years of accounting, AR, or project billing experience
• Experience with milestone or contract-based invoicing
• Strong Excel skills
• ERP experience required (SAP preferred)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
