The role involves being an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets. When a customer has a tire-related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the customer’s location to repair or change the tire. Technicians are typically roadside during job duties; when there are no service calls, they help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed.
Responsibilities- Serve as an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets, dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires.
- Perform mounting and dismounting, tire mounting as required, and related duties.
- Be available for on-call shifts, including after-hours service calls.
- Assist with shop organization, tire mounts, and other general duties when no service calls are in progress.
Starting pay: $23-$26/hourly. There is a mandatory on-call rotation with after-hours service calls paid at double time, with a minimum of 2 hours per call.

- Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous Commercial Service Tire experience preferred.
What skills will you learn?
- Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing tires.
- Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including proper PPE, tire cages, and safety policies and procedures.
