Retail Sales, Customer Service Rep

Responsibilities- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
- Provide exceptional service to each guest, greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, answering product questions, informing guests about promotions, and recommending complementary products and/or services.
- Handle customer service transactions, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders.
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
- Book appointments and support execution of services and in‑store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services during work time and remain knowledgeable of their ingredients and benefits.
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
- Create an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
- Share the benefits of the loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app.
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
- Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to enhance professional development and sales performance.
- Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
- Adhere to the dress code.
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed and faced, and ensure testers are available.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including the sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and processing/unloading shipments.
- Follow loss‑prevention best practices to protect company assets and provide outstanding service.
- Execute other operational tasks as directed.
- High school diploma preferred.
- 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience preferred.
- Demonstrated passion for guest service and competency for selling.
- Proficiency with basic technology, including POS and Apple devices.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Continuous mobility throughout the store.
- Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
- Lifting, carrying, or moving up to 25 lbs.
- Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
Pay range: $16.94 - $21.50 per hour (exact pay based on experience, qualifications, shift, location, and business needs). Eligible associates may earn overtime pay as required by law. Full‑time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; part‑time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
