Jr. Underwriter Training Program

Launch Your Career in Underwriting:

Total Mortgage is looking for a highly motivated hard worker with aspirations of a career in underwriting to join our training program.

Must have a minimum 5 years of experience in residential mortgage loan origination as a processor, loan officer, or loan officer assistant.

Underwriting experience is not required, we will train the right individual. This is a full-time position and requires in-person presence in

our Milford, CT office. Only local candidates within commuting distance will be considered.

What You'll Do:

• Learn how to underwrite conventional loans to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines including pre-approvals
• Receive hands on training from experienced Underwriters

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years experience as residential mortgage processor, loan officer, or loan officer assistant
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
• Team player who can also work independently.
