AR Analyst
Milford, CT | Full-Time, On-Site | $60-70K
Position Overview: The AR Analyst plays an integral role within the Customer Operations and Cash Operations organization, responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle, including collections, deduction management, and customer payment performance. This individual will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external customers, applying strong analytical skills to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive continuous process improvements across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer behavior patterns contributing to accounts receivable challenges, including deduction activity and past-due payment trends, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, brokers, and internal counterparts to proactively identify and resolve non-compliant behaviors and billing discrepancies
- Manage customer payment performance in accordance with terms of sale, corporate policies, and procedural guidelines
- Conduct periodic business reviews with customers, whether in-person or via teleconference, to address outstanding issues and strengthen partnerships
- Accurately identify, validate, and clear customer deductions within established timelines and corporate guidelines, while promptly pursuing collection of invalid deductions
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce incoming deductions and drive resolution by engaging the appropriate internal and external stakeholders
- Actively contribute to cross-functional project teams focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement across the AR function
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 1+ years of accounts receivable or related finance experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, high-performing finance team
