ESY Program Teachers needed for Summer, 2026.
ESY Program Teacher
Dates:
June 29-July 30
Description:
ESY Program Teachers will provide academic and/or specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals. Teachers will collaborate with support staff, maintain progress documentation, and provide a structured, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver targeted instruction based on student IEPs
* Familiar with ABA and DTI instruction
* Assess and record student progress
* Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers
* Communicate with families as needed
* Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
Qualifications:
* Special Education Teacher - Extended School Year (ESY)
* CT Certification in Comprehensive Special Education
* Endorsement 265, 165, or 065
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
