General Foreman

Position: General Foreman (Permanent)
Involve Recruitment are in search of a trade-based Multi-Skilled Working Foreman with comprehensive knowledge of domestic property maintenance / refurbishments and new extensions. This role would be working with a friendly team working across Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on while also leading by example on site. Day to day will involve overseeing small teams, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time while up holding HSE standards.

Key

Duties & Responsibilities

* Liaising with visiting Contracts Managers and the Company Health & Safety Officer

* Maintaining full compliance with HSE regulations

* Interpreting construction drawings and specifications

* Carrying out dimensional setting out

* Supervising and coordinating small teams when required

Quality control and oversight across multiple trades, including:

* Groundworks

* Carpentry

* Roofing

* Brickwork

* Rendering

* Decorating and finishing

* Paving (renewals and reinstatement)

* Concrete works such as paths, steps, ramps, and repairs

The ideal candidate will:

* Be a qualified or time-served foreman with broad construction knowledge

* Have proven experience in domestic refurbishments, maintenance, and extensions

* Be comfortable working hands-on alongside the team

* Demonstrate strong attention to detail and workmanship

* Be able to read and understand technical drawings

* Have a solid understanding of health and safety standards

* Possess good knowledge of building materials and construction methods

* Hold a valid CSCS card and relevant trade qualifications (preferred)

* Be confident managing and motivating others on site
