The AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairs including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems. The AMT will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely. The AMT will need to be self-sufficient and often be working in remote locations exposed to the elements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all airframe and power plant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements
Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts and test aircraft systems
Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments
Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned
Support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations
Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints
Present a clean and neat work area
Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to internal/external customers
Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
B1 or B1/B2 License
UK CAA and EASA License
Proven experience directly related to aviation (corporate aircraft experience preferred)
Type ratings on GVI and EMB
550 desired
Good working knowledge of EASA/UK CAA:
Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess the legal ability to work in Europe and/or the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of the UK/EU and US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.
Successful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraints
Must have the ability to multi-task within a team environment
Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs
Possess proven inspection competencies
Must be detail-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude
Successful candidate will ideally have their own set of hand tools. Specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the company
Must maintain a valid driver’s license
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Frequently lift and move up to 5
Kg and occasionally lift and move up to 22.5 KG
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
