The Opportunity
We are looking for a full‑time Buyer (fashion) – maternity cover. You will source, purchase, and merchandise a specific product category in a timely and efficient manner to maximize net profit contribution.
Your Impact
Source, select and secure a suitable range of products to meet sales targets and keep the line fresh.
Negotiate the best possible prices and conditions of trade.
Work closely with Planning to review product performance, plan and grow the range.
Coordinate with Planning, Broadcasting, Distribution and other departments to support buying decisions.
Maintain inventory levels and be accountable for the return to supplier process.
Supplier Relations
Meet regularly with suppliers to review performance and develop new concepts.
Collaborate with other Buyers and the Manager Buying Fashion to build relationships, track trends and competitor activity.
Negotiate vendor contracts and ensure timely execution.
Other
Prepare accurate financial information on product performance.
Support the Manager Buying Fashion with sales forecast preparation.
Support the Manager Buying Fashion in reviewing sales plans and adjusting as needed.
What You Bring
Degree in economics or equivalent.
At least 3 years’ experience as a retail buyer.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Previous fashion experience is mandatory (background in shoes/bags is a nice‑to‑have).
