BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking – Securities Services is looking for motivated candidates to grow in a dynamic environment. This internship (Stage) offers exposure to back office processes and NAV control within an international context.

Responsibilities

Check and validate prices

Review capital operations (spin off, stock split, DVD detachment in particular)

Monitor operations on derivatives markets (listed, not listed)

Accounting recalculation of fund unit value

Review NAV prospectuses of the SGR

Configure accounting system for expense amortization

Verify and recalibrate fees charged to the fund

Verify coupon accruals on bonds

Investigate with the SGR for operations requiring further checks

What the team does
The Depository Bank unit ensures the accuracy of NAV calculations for major Italian and foreign funds. The trainee will mainly perform back office tasks for primary Italian clients (Securities Management Companies – SGR and delegated managers) related to NAV control, enabling exposure to internal financial processes in an international setting. The Depository Bank handles post-trading back office activities for SGRs, pension funds, and related entities.

Qualifications

Education:

Final-year students or graduates in Economics with specialization in accounting and finance

Behavioral skills: interpersonal abilities, logical/mathematical reasoning, dynamism, problem solving, and precision

Technical skills: strong English language skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
