Senior EPC Project Manager | BESS & Solar
Milan (Hybrid) | €80,000 to €85,000 + Competitive Bonus

Piper Maddox is working exclusively with one of Italy's most exciting IPPs who are searching for a Senior Project Manager following their recent success at the MACSE auction. This profile will be responsible for leading an incredibly exciting pipeline of hybrid and standalone BESS and solar projects from RtB to COD.

We are searching for a true specialist in Project Management to manage and support all stakeholders across both internal and external teams. A strong background in the delivery and management of utility-scale solar projects is essential, with BESS experience considered a strong advantage.

This is a senior role in a small but incredibly ambitious team, looking to become one of the leading players in the Italian BESS market, as demonstrated by their recent MACSE success. With strong international backing, the company is entering a significant growth phase, offering clear opportunities to progress into a Head of EPC position in the near future.

Responsibilities
Full project management of multiple utility-scale solar & BESS plants from RtB to COD
Plan deployment and implementation of projects alongside internal engineering and procurement teams
Support internal engineering and development teams through secondary permitting and execution phases
Collaborate with the internal procurement team to handle contract negotiations and contribute to cost control procedures
Oversee construction works progress, managing all relevant stakeholders, including external subcontractors
Plan commissioning activities and manage handover to the O&M team

Key Skills & Experience
Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil)
10+ years’ experience in relevant project management roles
Proven track record of delivering large-scale (10MW+) solar and BESS projects in Italy
Deep expertise in local construction laws, regulations, HSE procedures, and grid codes
Fluent in Italian and English
