Job purpose:
To support the laboratory and cleanroom activities, performing electromechanical, electrical, RF, and basic mechanical activities in compliance with defined procedures, quality standards, and test requirements.

Job Duties
Execution of electromechanical assembly activities following drawings, procedures, and work instructions
Electrical and RF cabling, routing, crimping, soldering, and connector mating
Execution of RF and electrical checks (continuity, insulation, power connections, signal integrity…)
Mechanical rework activities (e.g. fasteners, inserts, extraction of damaged screws, minor machining)
Assembly and integration of radar subsystems and payloads, including electrical, RF, and mechanical components
Support to functional, performance, acceptance, and qualification tests (AIT activities)
Identification, troubleshooting, and reporting of anomalies during assembly and test phases
Compilation of test reports, assembly records, non-conformance notes, and technical documentation
Required skills and qualifications
Proven experience in electromechanical and RF assembly of complex equipment
Ability to correctly use manual tools and measurement instruments (torque wrenches, calipers, multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes – basic level)
Ability to follow assembly procedures and verify correct installation and functionality
Ability to read and understand CAD, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Basic mechanical manufacturing and reworking skills
Ability to write clear test reports and document results, anomalies, and corrective actions
Ability to work both autonomously and within a technical team
Good problem-solving attitude and structured troubleshooting approach
Good knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)
Desired Skills / Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in AIT, production, or test activities (aerospace, space, radar, RF, or electronics sectors preferred)
Experience with radar systems, RF payloads, or space hardware
Familiarity with cleanroom or controlled assembly environments
Ability to work in a fast-paced development and test environment
Availability for off-site test campaigns and occasional travel
Experience working according to procedures and quality standards (ECSS, aerospace, or equivalent)
Candidate must be eligible to work in Italy.
Employment condition
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
