My client seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on space thermo‑mechanical design to join their engineering team. You will contribute to the development of cutting‑edge space systems in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and validate thermo‑mechanical designs for space applications.
Use tools such as CREO, Femap, NX Nastran, ANSYS Workbench, Thermica, or equivalent to perform analysis and simulations.
Communicate design concepts clearly to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Support rapid design iterations in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
Liaise with manufacturers during the production phase, ensuring designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience with CAD/CAE tools for mechanical and thermal analysis.
Solid understanding of space systems and thermo‑mechanical design principles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and dynamic project requirements.
Experience interacting with manufacturers and supporting design‑for‑manufacture processes.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
