7:30am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri)

QPS Employment Group has a great Vinyl Fabricator position available at a company in Milan, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

• Cut vinyl and other materials using scissors and cutting tables; accurately measure materials using a tape measure.
• Perform hot air, wedge, and RF (radio frequency) welding/seaming to fabricate vinyl products.
• Attach handles, badges, and drain sleeves using welding equipment.
• Operate grommet machines to install grommets into vinyl materials.
• Lace vinyl liners to metal frames using lacing rope.
• Inspect materials and equipment; report defective materials or faulty equipment to a supervisor.
• Clean, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math skills with the ability to use measuring devices accurately.
• Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings and work instructions.
• Effective multitasking skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong time management skills.
• Ability to work extended hours with limited advance notice when required to meet project deadlines.
• Must be able to communicate audibly, read at varying distances, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Frequent lifting and moving of up to 20 pounds required.
• Manufacturing environment with potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, dust, or dirt.
