General Clerk III - Support

Location: Milan, IL 61264
Duration: 12+ Months

Shift: 3rd Shift role: 9:30 pm to 6:00 am, with possibility of overtime. Normal working week is Sunday nights through Thursday nights.

Pay Rate: $18 - $20/hr. on W2

• Candidate must have metatarsals on day one. Will be on their feet the majority of the shift and must be able to lift up to 28lbs.

• This position will be doing a lot of data entry; data entry of pick ticket stubs into DNS screens and serve as backup to Printer room and BOL clerk tasks. Will be working 90-95% in office, but “floor will come to them.” Acts as customer service for warehouse, manage 11 printers w/sense of urgency, be able to quickly navigate multiple computer systems.
  
  Will be working in Excel occasionally, but majority of work will be in Client’s mainframe/menu driven systems, DNS (Dealer Network System) and WCS.

• Exceptional data entry speed/accuracy plus ability to stay focused and perform work for long periods of time.
• Self‑motivated to help coworkers during lull times.
• Excellent customer service, communication and ability to work w/varying types of personalities administrative background and have experience in a warehouse/shipping office environment and familiarity w/shipping material, DOT regulations and relationship between the two.
• Experience w/inventory systems/tools/AS400 program extremely beneficial in this role; will be troubleshooting through inventory issues.
• Attention to detail, timeliness and excellent attendance are key as position is imperative in keeping operation running.

• Manager does NOT want to see individuals who have all floor/warehouse/forklift/etc. experience; this person needs to have worked in an admin role. Could be working at driver window or bursting tickets and distributing work/equipment; would require worker to be on feet for most of the shift. Will train as backup to cover all duties of position in the department, including BOL, customs document creation, handling will‑call window and responding to requests from warehouse supervisors and others within organization.
