Location:
Oklahoma City area (Town Center Plaza).
- Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
- Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates.
- Lead on-duty tasks as delegated by the store manager to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
- Partner with the sales leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
- Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
- Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpretation/dissemination of company directives.
- Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
- Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
- Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus.
- Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
- Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demos, and personalized recommendations.
- Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
- Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
- All store positions require physical activity (standing, walking, reaching, lifting); ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed.
- Maintain safe, clean, and engaging store environment by adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain our values, policies, and procedures.
- Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a managerial role, preferably in retail.
- Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.
- Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
- Effective communication, openness to feedback, and adaptability.
- Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
- Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
- Must be available to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
