Location:

Oklahoma City area (Town Center Plaza).

Responsibilities
  • Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
  • Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates.
  • Lead on-duty tasks as delegated by the store manager to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
  • Partner with the sales leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
  • Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
  • Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpretation/dissemination of company directives.
  • Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
  • Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
  • Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus.
  • Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
  • Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demos, and personalized recommendations.
  • Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
  • Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
  • All store positions require physical activity (standing, walking, reaching, lifting); ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and engaging store environment by adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain our values, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a managerial role, preferably in retail.
  • Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.
  • Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
  • Effective communication, openness to feedback, and adaptability.
  • Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
  • Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
  • Must be available to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education
  • High school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
