Part Time Computer Technician

Overview

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Part Time Computer Technician in the IT Department. Applicants must submit a completed City of Midwest City employment application to be considered. Resumes without a completed City employment application will not be accepted.

• Provide computer system support including hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Facilitate IT requests submitted through the IT work request system and participate in assigned projects or project teams.

• High school graduate with A+ certification or equivalent experience required.
• Previous technical experience; highly technical role.
• Software skills: basic 10-Key, alphanumeric data entry, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing.
• Valid Oklahoma driver s license and be insurable.
• Technical associate s degree or bachelor s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Designation as safety/security sensitive; subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening.

Starting Salary: $16.3020/hr. – No benefits.
