How

You’ll Contribute
  • Create, support or implement Program Office internal airworthiness guidance, processes, and templates.
  • Provide airworthiness-related advice to program managers and program engineers.
  • Conduct airworthiness board reviews.
  • Facilitate the program engineer’s formal coordination for the various airworthiness products, as needed.
  • Approve airworthiness packages complete prior to coordination.
  • Execute airworthiness processing in LCMP airworthiness Module.
  • Maintain Airworthiness dashboard for all ongoing projects.
  • Maintain AW-related metrics.
  • Develop annual DTA AW-related report in accordance with AC-19-04.
  • Ensure development, maintenance, and usage of single-location storage and archive of all airworthiness-related artifacts.

You Have
  • 3+ years of experience with airworthiness, MIL-HDBK-516C and systems development
  • Experience with the system engineering lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapons and test systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Nice If You Have
  • 10+ years of experience with airworthiness, MIL-HDBK-516C and systems development
  • Experience with Life Cycle Management Program
  • Master's degree
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Secret clearance is required.
