Instructional Facilitator of Technology – Mid-Del Schools

Position Summary

To perform this job successfully, the qualified candidate will support district personnel with the use of instructional technology, keep up with instructional support needs as submitted in the ticketing system, create professional development for teachers and administrators, and stay current with innovative use of technology in teaching and learning.

Qualification Requirements
  • Master’s degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of three years teaching experience
  • Current Oklahoma Teaching Certificate
  • Demonstrate knowledge of state standards
  • Expertise in research‑based instructional practices
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists in the development and implementation of instructional technology professional development for school and district staff.
  • Maintains current knowledge of integrating technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of technology in the classroom.
  • Facilitates training in “best practices” in instructional strategies, data‑driven lesson planning, and assessments with Instructional Coaches.
  • Creates training materials and provides resources for students, staff, and teachers.
  • Participates and helps facilitate on district technology committees regarding various technology topics.
  • Assists in the development of activities that help integrate technology into various curriculum areas.
  • Assists with administration of the district’s current learning management platform and other instructional programs supported by the district.
  • Assists with training new‑to‑district teachers on the appropriate use and integration of district technology.
  • Coordinates site EdTech district meetings and training.
  • Additional duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor or above.
Language and Grammar Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; ability to compose and write grammatically correct correspondence and memos.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schedule or blueprint form.
