Safety Coordinator - Ground-Up Commercial / Concrete

A respected and growing General Contractor is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support ground-up commercial construction projects. This company is known for its strong safety culture, high-quality builds, and team-first mindset. They are looking for a proactive safety professional with ground-up commercial or concrete experience who is passionate about maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient jobsites.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance on active jobsites
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety meetings
• Coordinate and lead toolbox talks and safety training sessions
• Partner with project managers and superintendents to proactively identify and correct hazards
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions
• Maintain safety documentation including JHAs, SDS logs, and required reporting
• Support subcontractor safety compliance and accountability
• Promote a strong culture of safety across all project teams

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of safety experience in construction required
• Ground-up commercial construction and/or concrete experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations
• OSHA 30 required (CHST or other certifications a plus)
• Ability to confidently communicate with field teams and leadership
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
