Assistant Director of Nursing; ADON

Hello! Cascades at Riverwalk in Midvale, UT is hiring a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The Assistant Director of Nursing will assist the Director of Nursing in various duties (detailed below) as well as cover shifts as needed and provide additional leadership on the floor. Our goal in this Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care.

• Active management of clinical systems
• Nursing staff scheduling, interviewing, hiring/firing
• Team building, morale building, motivating the clinical team to provide the finest patient care
• Assist with development/maintenance of nursing programs and activities
• Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charts, etc.
• Any additional functions as directed by the DON
• Expertly assess nursing home residents' needs, and coordinating personalized, resident-driven care based on those assessments
• Oversee the patient assessment process, setting assessment schedules and assuring that assessments are done in an accurate and timely manner

• Minimum:
  Associates degree. Bachelor's degree preferred
• RN or LPN license in good standing
• Minimum two years of experience as a nurse, prior leadership experience preferred
• Read and write in a legible and understandable manner
• Must speak and understand English
• Genuine love & concern for the geriatric population!
• Skilled Nursing (SNF) experience
