An opportunity for an experienced sales rep, with knowledge of the food and beverage industry, to pursue a challenging career.
Kalex Flavours & Ingredients is a well-established supplier and manufacturer of high-quality flavours and ingredients to the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries in SA and throughout the continent.
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Representative to join our team of professionals in building strong client relationships and to identify new business opportunities in the food manufacturing and flavour supply industry.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and target driven, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing/new clients and drive sales.
- Expand customer base.
- Professionally handle after-sales service and client queries.
- Be motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Submit weekly sales and client visit reports.
- Participate in regular sales meetings.
- Be willing to travel nationally.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of proven sales experience.
- Completed a course in Sales & Marketing or BSc Food Science Degree.
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Excellent selling and customer relationship skills.
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented individual with the ability to work independently.
- Goal driven, resilient and self-motivated.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong administrative and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite;
Pastel an advantage. - Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Basic monthly salary R30,000 – R40,000 negotiable
