We are seeking a dynamic, digitally-savvy Marketing Manager to drive customer acquisition and growth within our Consumer division. This B2C-focused role requires expertise in digital marketing, direct response channels, and partner enablement to reach South African consumers through multiple touchpoints.

The ideal candidate understands the consumer journey from awareness to purchase, knows how to optimize digital acquisition funnels, and can enable channel partners in the Motor Dealer and Insurance segments to effectively sell Netstar solutions. You thrive in a performance marketing environment where every rand spent is measured against results.

This role requires close collaboration with our digital teams, channel partners, and the broader marketing function to deliver cohesive consumer experiences that drive acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing & Performance
  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, and emerging platforms.
  • Drive organic growth through SEO strategy, content marketing, and website conversion rate optimisation.
  • Manage digital agency relationships and hold partners accountable for performance against KPIs.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, platform changes, and emerging consumer behaviours.
Direct Response & CRM Marketing
  • Design and execute email marketing programmes including welcome journeys, engagement campaigns, and win-back sequences.
  • Leverage SMS and Whats App channels for timely, relevant customer communications and offers.
  • Integrate marketing campaigns with call centre operations to maximise lead conversion and customer service opportunities.
Motor Dealer Channel Enablement
  • Develop dealer marketing programmes including point-of-sale materials, showroom displays, and sales incentives.
  • Create training content and sales enablement tools that help dealer staff effectively present Netstar benefits.
  • Execute co-marketing campaigns with key dealer groups and OEM partners.
  • Monitor dealer channel performance and identify opportunities to improve activation rates and volume.
Insurance Channel Enablement
  • Partner with Insurance channel teams to develop embedded and add-on product marketing strategies.
  • Create compelling value propositions that resonate with insurance customers and support partner sales processes.
  • Develop co-branded campaigns and marketing assets for insurance partner use.
  • Track insurance channel contribution and work with partners to optimise conversion and retention.
Marketing Analytics & Performance Management
  • Define and track key consumer marketing metrics including CPA, conversion rates, ROAS, LTV, and channel mix efficiency.
  • Build real-time dashboards providing visibility into campaign performance and budget pacing.
  • Conduct regular channel and campaign analysis to inform budget allocation and optimisation decisions.
  • Report on marketing contribution to subscriber growth, retention, and revenue targets.
Experience Required Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of B2C marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a digital-focused management role.
Industry & Channel Experience
  • Proven track record in digital acquisition and performance marketing with demonstrable ROI.
  • Experience in subscription, insurance, automotive, or telematics industries highly preferred.
  • Channel marketing experience, particularly with dealer networks or insurance partners, advantageous.
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing platforms including Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and programmatic tools.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems, and customer data platforms.
  • Experience with web analytics (Google Analytics
    4), attribution modelling, and conversion tracking.
  • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and data-driven optimisation.
