Our client is a global leader in reliable networking devices and accessories, and they are an international distributor. In South Africa, they are expanding its footprint in the video surveillance and CCTV market, delivering high-performance, scalable security solutions to commercial, industrial, and retail sectors.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven CCTV Sales Manager to lead the growth and execution of the Company’s CCTV product portfolio for their team in Midrand.
This role is responsible for driving the sales and technical deployment of CCTV and security solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of CCTV systems, IP networks, and related security technologies, alongside proven experience in technical sales. The incumbent will manage key accounts, provide technical consultation, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
Required qualification and working knowledge:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Electronics, Security Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in CCTV/Technical Sales within enterprise or commercial security markets.
- Knowledge of WMS, ERP, or other operational systems.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in surveillance, security, and IP-based systems.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in CCTV or technical sales.
- Strong technical knowledge of CCTV systems, IP networking, and security technologies.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in B2B account management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for CCTV and security solutions to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing client accounts.
- Provide technical consultation and solution design for clients’ security needs,
- including CCTV, access control, and related systems.
- Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and installation of solutions.
- Conduct site visits to assess client requirements and system performance.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
