About the Learnership:

CoCre8 Technology Solutions, based in Midrand, Johannesburg would like to invite applicants interested in a 12 month learnership programme in IT Service Desk Support. The Service Desk agent is responsible for providing efficient and professional IT support to end-users, acting as the first point of contact for all technical inquiries and issues. This role involves diagnosing and resolving incidents, managing service requests, and ensuring that incidents are accurately logged, categorized, and prioritised.

This role will be reporting into the Service Desk Manager.

Outline:
  • Your core focus will be to support customers in an IT Service Desk environment (level
    1)
  • You will be the first point of contact for all IT related issues and enquiries.
  • You will learn to log calls, support customers, follow the correct ITIL processes and become familiar with Service Desk Tools.
  • The Learnership programme comprises structured learning components combined with workplace experience.
  • The learnership will include formal training (Technical Support NQF4).
  • The duration of the programme is 12 months – commencing 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2025
  • You will be based at the CoCre8 offices in Midrand.
  • Must be unemployed at present.
  • Valid and recognised Matric certificate.
  • Learners must have successfully passed at least two languages in Matric – one of which MUST be ENGLISH (‘C’ Symbol will be advantageous).
  • IT related Certificate, Diploma or Degree.
  • Must be a South African Citizen.
  • Must reside in the Midrand and surrounding areas.
Skills and further requirements:
  • Any additional training completed will be advantageous.
  • Self‑motivated individual with a desire to learn.
  • Must have a passion for IT.
  • Excellent communication skills (English) both written and spoken.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
