Overview
Join a global environment where finance plays a central role in strategic decision-making. You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for group reporting, statutory compliance, and tax oversight across multiple entities. The role offers exposure to international stakeholders, Board-level reporting, and complex financial structures, providing a strong platform for long-term career growth. You will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams, contributing to both financial and commercial reporting.
The position offers meaningful involvement in forecasting, business unit performance analysis, and ad hoc strategic initiatives, including merger and acquisition activities.
- Consolidate month-end financial information and prepare reporting packs for senior stakeholders and the head office.
- Upload and manage actual, forecast, and budget information within group reporting systems.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of annual financial statements and statutory reporting requirements.
- Perform tax calculations and manage tax compliance, including income tax, VAT, PAYE, and withholding tax.
- Review inter-company transactions and ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to quarterly Board and monthly executive reporting packs.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes.
- Participate in financial and commercial reviews of business units and analyze performance.
- Support the consolidation of quarterly forecasts across regional operations.
- Conduct ad hoc financial investigations and assist with merger and acquisition activities when required.
- CA(SA) qualification
- Approximately 4 to 6 years’ post-articles experience
- Strong background in financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory reporting
- Solid understanding of IFRS and corporate tax
- Experience working within complex or multi-entity environments
- Exposure to consulting or multinational environments will be advantageous
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling
- Experience with Oracle and Hyperion reporting systems (essential)
