Are you a seasoned credit risk professional with the technical depth to design advanced scorecardsand the leadership capability to guide teams and influence clients at a senior level This role offers the opportunity to shape high-impact credit scoring strategies across complex portfolios.
In this senior role you will lead end-to-end credit scoring initiatives combining deep analytical expertise with strong commercial and client-facing capability. You’ll oversee multiple engagements, advise stakeholders on credit risk strategy and drive delivery excellence while developing high-performing analytical teams. This position sits at the forefront of credit risk modelling regulatory innovation and strategic decision-making

You’ll be trusted to:
- Influence credit risk and scoring strategies at enterprise level
- Lead complex scoring and modelling engagements from concept to delivery
- Act as a senior advisor to clients on credit risk optimisation
- Grow and mentor specialist analysts and consultants
- Contribute to thought leadership and regulatory best practices
- Work in an intellectually stimulating environment where your expertise directly impacts portfolio performance and long-term risk outcomes
- Lead end-to-end credit scorecard and credit risk model development
- Design and shape credit scoring strategies aligned to business and regulatory requirements
- Manage multiple concurrent client engagements ensuring quality timelines and commercial objectives are met
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on credit risk and scoring best practice
- Lead mentor and develop high-performing analytical teams
- Support business development activities, proposals and long-term client relationships
- Stay current with industry regulatory and methodological developments and contribute to thought leadership
- Honours degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Data Science or a similar quantitative discipline
- Minimum 58 years experience in credit risk modelling and scorecard development
- Minimum 3 years experience in a senior leadership project management or consulting role
- Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management experience
- Practical experience with regulatory frameworks such as Basel and IFRS 9
- Proficiency in SAS, R, Python and SQL
- Excellent analytical communication and leadership skills
