Mechanical Design Draughtsman - Inventor

You will be mainly responsible for:

- Creating 3D parametric models from created skeletons using Autodesk Inventor Software.
- Generating General Arrangement (G.A) and Detail drawings for Manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Design Draughtsman:

- Produce manufacturing drawings.
- Communicate with the Design Engineers.
- Give feedback on drawing progress to the Drawing Office Manager.
- Create 3D parametric models using SKELETON MODELING.
- To produce the most accurate, correct and neat drawings.
- Upholding the ISO 9001 Quality when producing drawings.

Minimum requirements:

- Minimum 8 years active working experience as a Senior Design Draughtsman.
- Minimum 8 years active working experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years experience in Manufacturing and Fabrication
- Diploma in Mechanical Draughting
- Technical competence using the following Autodesk Software:
- Inventor - 3D Skeleton modelling
- AutoCAD
- Vault
- High attention to detail
- Experience in the Mining Industry will be an added advantage.
