Civil Design Technician​/Technologist​/Engineer

Job Description About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our Design Team, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for mining and infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex designs that make a real impact.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D
, including:

• Tailings storage facilities
• Embankments and internal drainage systems
• Water dams and peripheral infrastructure
• General arrangements and concrete detailing
• Earthworks modelling for mining projects
• Geotechnical site investigation plans
• Major and minor road modelling
• Hydraulic structures
• Stormwater Management Plans
• Muk 3D deposition plans

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in the design of mine infrastructure and dams.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D software.
• Ability to self-train and a strong interest in learning new design technologies.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
