Overview
An engineering company based in Gauteng that’s involved in the planning, design, construction and project management of roads & stormwater needs a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team.
The Civil Engineer will design, develop and construct a huge range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion. You will have a say in how the world looks like, work in a fast-growing dynamic industry, contribute towards healthy economies and make a lasting positive impact on society.
Responsibilities
Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and others)Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable mannerAssess potential risks, materials and costsProvide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficienciesHandle the resulting structures and services for useMonitor progress and compile reports on project statusManage budget and purchase equipment/materialsComply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as requiredKey Requirements:
BEng or BSc in Civil EngineeringProfessionally registered with ECSAMinimum of 10 years experience in the design and involvement in roads projectsSANRAL experience is an added advantageProficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etcProject management and supervision skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHire Resolve is a top-tier recruitment firm that focuses on placing skilled professionals in permanent employment.
