We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Debtors Controller to join our finance team based in Midrand. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a Diploma and some practical experience to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assist with managing the debtor’s book, ensuring timely collections and accurate allocations, and maintaining positive client relationships.

• Manage and maintain the debtor’s ledger
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections
• Allocate payments accurately and reconcile customer accounts
• Prepare and send customer statements
• Resolve customer account queries promptly and professionally
• Assist with credit limit reviews and account applications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
• Assist with month-end reporting and age analysis
• Support the finance team with administrative tasks when required

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in a debtors/accounts receivable role (advantageous)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience working on an accounting/ERP system (e.g., SAP, Pastel, or similar)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
