Senior Specialist Forex, Hedge Accounting & Cash Flow

Our client in the Digital Communications Sector is looking for a Senior Specialist:
Forex Hedge Accounting & Cash Flow on a contract duration of 6 months.

• Matric
• BCom graduate in Accountancy Investments Economics Treasury or business related field
• 8 years relevant experience of which at least 5 years working experience in a Banking Treasury environment specific to forex hedging strategy and hedge accounting
• Knowledge and understanding of SARB Regulations
• Experience dealing with the SARB & Exchange Control of the local banks
• Ability to establish good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work within a team to achieve goals
• Working knowledge of Accounting principles
• Management accountancy PÄL Balance Sheet and cash flows. Knowledge of how period end information is used within the organisation drive business decisions
• SOX IFRS and local GAAP knowledge
• Excellent MS Office knowledge and skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a new environment and work on multiple systems/platforms
• Ability to communicate Forex information with non-finance employees
• Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of Fin Ops

• Undertaking or a desire to undertake further education to progress career.
• Post graduate qualification in the relevant field
