Position Summary
Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. The role focuses on a high‑impact, customer‑centric environment, working independently and collaboratively to positively impact customers and the community.
Essential Functions- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively identifying and resolving service issues.
- Offer a warm, friendly greeting, maintain eye contact, and help locate additional items.
- Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks.
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
- Assist all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
- Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts and opportunities for growth.
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs to help people on their path to better health.
- Remain upright, particularly for sustained periods.
- Lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently.
- Have close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Pay Range$15.00 – $19.00 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary).
