Overview
Salisbury Country Club - Communications Coordinator
Position SummaryThe Communications Coordinator supports Club communications, including the Indoor Sports Facility (ISF) and Golf Pro Shop. This role combines creative marketing, administrative support, and cross-department coordination to ensure clear communication, consistent branding, and strong member engagement.
Responsibilities- Marketing & Communications
- Manage social media platforms, promoting events, programs, and club news.
- Create and maintain a content calendar for promotions, events, staff highlights, and new offerings.
- Design flyers, graphics, and promotional materials using Canva.
- Assist with email campaigns and weekly newsletters (e.g., This Week at the ISF, Birdie Bulletin).
- Coordinate with the Clubhouse, ISF, and Golf Pro Shop staff to maintain accurate event calendars and quarterly marketing plans.
- Ensure all communications are accurate, current, and consistent with Club branding.
- Administrative & Technology Support
- Provide training and support for the Club’s ‘Northstar’ software system as needed.
- Manage the SCC News email inbox and route communications to appropriate departments.
- Coordinate with the Clubhouse administrative team to streamline scheduling and communication.
- Assist with special projects as time allows.
- Member Relations & Internal Communication
- Respond to member inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Communicate effectively across departments to support collaboration.
- Participate in staff meetings as needed.
- Encourage member participation through creative and strategic messaging.
- Strategy & Growth
- Identify opportunities to increase participation and engagement.
- Contribute ideas to improve member experience and club operations.
- Support long-term goals of awareness, consistency, and community.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Experience in promoting events on social media a plus.
- Proficiency in Canva and creative skills required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Slack preferred.
- Excellent grammar and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in marketing or business strategy a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with leadership potential.
- Comfortable learning and training others on software systems (e.g., Northstar).
