Certified Medical Assistant

Center Well Senior Primary Care is a network of comprehensive medical centers designed to provide high-quality, holistic care for Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients, with a focus on seniors. Each location is staffed with a multidisciplinary Care Team, including doctors, care coaches, behavioral health specialists, and clinical pharmacists, to ensure 24/7 support tailored to the unique needs of older adults. Patients receive personalized care with longer appointments, shorter wait times, and access to on-site services, such as pharmacies and activity centers to foster both physical and social wellness.

This is a full-time, on-site Certified Medical Assistant role located in Midlothian, VA. The Certified Medical Assistant will perform a variety of tasks, including assisting medical providers during examinations, managing medical records, coordinating patient care, and maintaining a clean and organized medical office environment. Other responsibilities include administering medications as directed, observing patient conditions, preparing rooms and equipment for procedures, and ensuring adherence to protocols and medical standards.

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including obtaining vital signs and performing clinical procedures
• Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and ability to effectively communicate with both providers and patients
• Experience managing Medical Office operations, including inventory management and scheduling
• Skills in Patient Care and the ability to provide empathetic, patient-centered service
• Familiarity with organizing and maintaining accurate Medical Records
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, fast-paced healthcare environment
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred
• Previous experience in senior care or primary care settings is a plus
