Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Certified Medical Assistant role located in Midlothian, VA. The Certified Medical Assistant will perform a variety of tasks, including assisting medical providers during examinations, managing medical records, coordinating patient care, and maintaining a clean and organized medical office environment. Other responsibilities include administering medications as directed, observing patient conditions, preparing rooms and equipment for procedures, and ensuring adherence to protocols and medical standards.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including obtaining vital signs and performing clinical procedures
  • Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and ability to effectively communicate with both providers and patients
  • Experience managing Medical Office operations, including inventory management and scheduling
  • Skills in Patient Care and the ability to provide empathetic, patient-centered service
  • Familiarity with organizing and maintaining accurate Medical Records
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred
  • Previous experience in senior care or primary care settings is a plus
