Civil​/Structural​/Architectural Designer- Entry Level

Job Responsibilities

• Civil/Structural/Architectural Designers are responsible for performing civil, structural and architectural design under the direct supervision of senior designers and engineers.
• Develop a good understanding and implementation of PDI CAD standards.
• Develop PDI CAD standards under direction of senior designers.

• Basic understanding of AutoCAD 2D and 3D Design.
• Possess a basic understanding of civil and structural material specifications and construction techniques.
• Travel to site to assist in field work in industrial environments.
• Continue learning process by attending in-house seminars and continuing education opportunities outside of office.
• Develop working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Possess ability to follow directions from lead designers.
• Strong ethics and corporate loyalty.
• Must be results oriented and a team player.
• Associates degree completed or in process strongly desired or completed CAD certificate program
• Experience in an industrial chemical processing environment is a plus.
