We are representing a FORTUNE 500 industry leading consumer products organization who is actively seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer due to their continued growth of the company. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this newly created position will join a large team and support product engineering while also acting as an intermediary between the customer and the manufacturing & aftermarket group (applications).

This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.

• Execution of Engineering deliverables to meet project timelines
• Crate and/or modify 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and models that support new and re-engineered products.
• Develop manufacturing plans for new products including bills of material (BOM) and routings.
• Manage projects from end to end (cradle to grave) including resource allocation, task assignment, tracking against plan, risk assessment, etc.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field) required.
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of product engineering and design experience within manufacturing environment.
• High proficiency with 2D and 3D design and associated CAD platforms (Catie, Solid Works, AutoCAD, CREO, etc.)
• Project Management experience in designing, testing, and launching new designs.
