What You’ll Do
  • Manage a key client’s site-based quality control & quality assurance programs, ensure the GC is executing on this program effectively, while also executing the commissioning (Cx) program and integrating with the client’s Operations team to deliver the programs’ goals and deliverables.
  • Create, update & maintain the project submittal log and all other project-specific quality control reports.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications.
  • Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the site superintendent.
  • Meet weekly with QC managers to track, discuss and close BIM 360 QC issues.
  • Provide written daily QC reports that confirm construction aligns with project standards and address non-conformances to achieve timely corrective actions.
  • Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to establish the standards of care for each definable feature of work. Verify that checklists are used and signed off prior to placement of concrete, steel and similar items.
  • Verify and document that all materials received for the project conform to approved submittals.
  • Conduct periodic follow-up inspections to verify work proceeds according to contract documents and approved submittals.
  • Document final inspections and acceptance of works in the various project phases.
  • Manage the quality control staff and all specialty subcontractor inspection entities to ensure compliance with owner/architect Contract specifications, codes, regulations and requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison with the Owner for all quality control related issues.
  • Implement and/or manage keeping of all quality control records and ensure required reporting is accomplished.
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate (preparatory, initial and follow-up) audits/inspections to be performed and documented. Carry out internal audits at site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
  • Report results to the respective superintendent(s) promptly and act as a catalyst for follow-up corrective actions and re-inspection when deficiencies are discovered.
  • Assist the Project Safety Coordinator to implement and enforce safety programs and practices to create a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams.
Cx Related Tasks & Responsibilities May Include
  • Support technical escalations on testing scope and issues from project level, providing direction.
  • Support the Quality & Cx Team in all corporate Owner’s program initiatives and meetings.
  • Assist the QCx Team to develop and implement processes to ensure technical consistency and documentation of the QCx program.
  • Manage QCx reporting & dashboards, develop and maintain metrics.
  • Support the Program Cx Manager in data collection, recording and analysis.
  • Monitor existing on-site Cx processes for consistency and adherence to client’s expectations.
  • As directed by Client, support the Cx Program Manager in proper implementation of Cx strategy/execution.
  • Work with General Contractors to ensure their QC team understands and follows site requirements for quality assurance and commissioning.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions with a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
