Quality Assurance Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisorto lead food safety and quality programs within a manufacturing facility. This role oversees QA personnel, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains audit-ready systems across production operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and support QA staff on the production floor.
• Coordinate supplier qualification and employee training records.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FDA, and food safety regulations.
• Lead investigations for CAPAs, deviations, OOS, complaints, and NCMRs.
• Maintain QA documentation, batch records, and change control systems.
• Conduct internal audits and support external inspections (FDA, NSF, Kosher, Halal)
• Oversee sanitation, allergen control, environmental monitoring, and pest control programs.

Qualifications/Must Haves:

• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FDA regulations.
• Hands-on experience working on a manufacturing floor.
• 3–4 years of supervisory QA experience in food manufacturing (nutra/pharma acceptable)
• All education levels will be considered; equivalent practical experience is fully acceptable.

Preferred Skills:

• PCQI, HACCP, or SQF certification.
• Experience with QMS or manufacturing systems (Oracle a plus)
