Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisorto lead food safety and quality programs within a manufacturing facility. This role oversees QA personnel, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains audit-ready systems across production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and support QA staff on the production floor.
- Coordinate supplier qualification and employee training records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FDA, and food safety regulations.
- Lead investigations for CAPAs, deviations, OOS, complaints, and NCMRs.
- Maintain QA documentation, batch records, and change control systems.
- Conduct internal audits and support external inspections (FDA, NSF, Kosher, Halal)
- Oversee sanitation, allergen control, environmental monitoring, and pest control programs.
Qualifications/Must Haves:
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FDA regulations.
- Hands-on experience working on a manufacturing floor.
- 3–4 years of supervisory QA experience in food manufacturing (nutra/pharma acceptable)
- All education levels will be considered; equivalent practical experience is fully acceptable.
Preferred Skills:
- PCQI, HACCP, or SQF certification.
- Experience with QMS or manufacturing systems (Oracle a plus)
